It is with heavy heart that I have to inform you that 
Robert (Bob) Gachagan passed away yesterday afternoon the 25th January 2023 after a short illness,
A lot of you will know Bob as the Branch Chairman for many years but also as a GMB representative who fought tirelessly all his working life and in retirement too for his work colleagues. Never giving in he fought and won many cases even up to just days before he was taken ill.
Bob will be remembered as a stalwart of the GMB who was a dedicated life long Union man.
Stand down brother, Rest in Peace
